About the project
Many educational centers in the EU face challenges when transitioning from in-person courses to online courses. This includes establishing online relationships with learners, acquiring necessary equipment and infrastructure, and addressing issues such as adults’ relationship with education, inclusion of disadvantaged groups, and educators’ lack of digital competencies. Given the current state of adult education and the availability of digital tools, it is important to prioritize educators’ ability to create engaging educational paths through the development of creative and digital culture skills, rather than focusing solely on mastering a specific tool.
Adult education encompasses various forms of learning that enable adults to participate in society and the workforce. Reimagine Distance Learning project examines the current needs in adult education and emphasizes innovative and unified approaches to distance learning, inspired by the Instructional Design Methodology. Additionally, it ensures equal access and opportunities for underrepresented groups by incorporating innovative online resources and tools.Reimagine Distance Learning

Why?
Many educational institutions in the EU have expressed difficulties in converting their in-person courses into engaging online sessions. While there are various digital tools available, there is a lack of consistent educational approaches and the necessary digital skills and mindset to implement them. ‘Reimagine Distance Learning’ addresses this issue by ensuring that the project’s innovative methods, resources, and tools are accessible to all who are interested, fostering an inclusive and open learning environment.
How?
The project, and its activities, have a goal to enhance the ability of adult educators to create educational experiences that are of high quality, captivating, inclusive, and sustainable. These experiences can be delivered through online platforms or a combination of online and traditional teaching methods. Adult educators will develop their skills in organizing their work and connecting with learners on a personalized level.
