There are three (3) project results that are going to be created during the implementation of Reimagine Distance Learning project.
1. Web App Platform
A Web App Platform dedicated to Distance Learning and related tools and methodologies based on Instructional Design is being developed with a focus on professionals in adult education. The Platform aims to strengthen networks, increase cooperation among partners, and make project materials and results available to target groups. It will include an online training environment with relevant materials for educators and a data collection platform for insights on Distance Learning through questionnaires. The Web App Platform will be maintained for five years after the project’s completion and will be translated into all partners’ languages.
2. Toolkit
Although there are numerous e-learning tools and technologies available, their implementation in various educational scenarios and contexts requires attention. Therefore, a Toolkit will be developed at this stage of the project to equip users with concrete information, tools, and methodologies for effectively creating a training curriculum based on the Instructional Design Methodology. The Toolkit will include a wide range of best practices from adult Distance Learning across the EU for users to consider. It will also account for cultural and sectoral diversity, organizing its content accordingly.
3. Online Training Course
The primary aim of the “Online Training Course” is to introduce adult educators to the ethics and methods of the Instructional Design approach, enabling them to apply it in their classes. The course will provide participants with essential information and tools to design creative and inclusive curricula for Distance Learning. It will consist of modules with a total duration of 30 hours and will be available in English and all partners’ languages.
